Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support the delivery of great crested newt and wider biodiversity conservation efforts through data management and analysis.

The successful applicant will be employed by Freshwater Habitats Trust, seconded full-time to the Newt Conservation Partnership.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with us in creating and managing high-quality habitat for great crested newts.

The role involves supporting the delivery of great crested newt and wider biodiversity conservation efforts through data management and analysis.

A strong GIS skillset, meticulous approach to data management, and ability to work collaboratively are essential requirements for this position.

About the Role:
  • Estimated Salary: £28,500 per annum
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Location: Hybrid or home working
About the Newt Conservation Partnership:

The Newt Conservation Partnership is a community-benefit society whose main purpose is creating and managing high-quality habitat for great crested newts.

Our work is underpinned by a spatial strategy and we work at the landscape scale.

We have an extensive monitoring programme, and generate critical data for assessing the success of the NatureSpace schemes.

We work closely with our partners Amphibian and Reptile Conservation and Freshwater Habitats Trust and follow their evidence-based best practice guidance for the conservation of amphibians and ponds.
