About the Role

We are seeking a professional Care and Support Assistant to join our team at our modern development in Ipswich, Suffolk.

As a Care and Support Assistant, you will provide individualised care to our residents, enabling them to live later life well. You will deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans, and support residents to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care and support to residents in a warm and friendly manner
  • Deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the estate
  • Support residents to participate in activities and promote their health and wellbeing
  • Help residents to book appointments, arrange transport, and escort them on visits as needed
  • Assist with shopping and daily living tasks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a warm and friendly individual with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You will have a minimum of 1 year of UK Health and Social Care experience, with a preference for those with a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification.

You will be located within an easily commutable distance from our estate and will be required to work 13.5-hour shifts per week, including weekend shifts. Base salary is £11.58 per hour, with a possibility of up to £12.88 per hour for working evening and weekend hours.
