Salary: £115,000 - £130,000 per annum
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the commercial operations of a growing portfolio of energy assets. As Head of Commercial Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our existing assets, while also driving growth and expansion into new markets.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex energy portfolios, with expertise in battery energy storage systems (BESS) and experience working in the GB electricity market. You will be responsible for ensuring that our assets are optimized for maximum revenue generation, while also maintaining regulatory compliance and implementing best-in-class operational practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance of our existing assets, including BESS, to maximize revenue generation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all assets are compliant with relevant regulations and standards, including those related to health and safety, environmental impact, and energy efficiency.
- Operational Excellence: Implement best-in-class operational practices across the organization, including regular asset management reviews and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Talent Development: Lead and develop a high-performing team of professionals, providing training and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements:
- Energy Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in the energy industry, with a proven track record of managing complex energy portfolios.
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS): Expertise in BESS technology and experience working with BESS systems.
- GB Electricity Market: Experience working in the GB electricity market, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: £115,000 - £130,000 per annum, depending on experience.
