About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Peer Support Facilitator. As a Peer Support Facilitator, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health issues to achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and group support to individuals with mental health issues, using your own lived experience to inform your practice.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement recovery plans that meet the individual's needs.
  • Use your skills and experience to facilitate groups and workshops that promote recovery and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the delivery of peer support services.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Personal lived experience of mental health issues.
  • Experience of using mental health services and participating in recovery-focused activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
