Job Title: Class 1 Shunter Nights

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Class 1 Tug Driver/Shunter to join our team. As a key member of our yard operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers/tugs within our yard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Movement of trailers/tugs through the yard in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Adhering to yard Health and Safety procedures and regulations at all times.
  • Reporting any damage seen or that may have occurred during movements of trailers.
  • Occasional delivery and warehouse work.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced and pressured environment.
  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Hold a Class 1 LGV Licence (C + E).
  • A current driver CPC card.
  • Demonstrate the core DPD DNA values of Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Hard Work, and Accountability.
