About the Role

Manchester City Women is seeking an experienced and highly skilled goalkeeping coach to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for our goalkeepers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and document goalkeeping training plans that align with the Manchester City playing style and game model.
  • Deliver engaging and dynamic goalkeeping training sessions that challenge our goalkeepers to develop and master position-specific concepts.
  • Work closely with our performance analysts to review training and matches, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Contribute to our talent identification program, working with our academy staff to identify and develop high-potential goalkeepers.

Requirements

  • UEFA A Licence Goalkeeping Coaching Award
  • Experience of working as an elite-level goalkeeping coach within professional football
  • Sound understanding of the Manchester City playing style and game model
  • Proven experience planning, delivering, and reviewing comprehensive and challenging training programs in an elite football environment
