Phonics Specialist Opportunity

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Phonics Specialist to support the development of KS1 students in Primary schools across Melksham. As a Phonics Specialist, you will work with small groups of students aged 4 to 8, using the RWI Phonics scheme to deliver engaging and effective phonics lessons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare lesson materials, utilizing resources provided by the school.
  • Deliver phonics sessions to small groups of students, utilizing the RWI scheme.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of phonics programs, ensuring alignment with the KS1 and EYFS curriculum.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with young people in a youth work or similar setting.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to supporting the development of young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow in a new environment.
