About the Role:

eXPD8 is seeking a skilled Retail Merchandiser to join our field-based retail merchandising team. As a Retail Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective setup of fixtures, attractive display of products and promotions, and well-stocked shelves in a range of high street retailers on behalf of exciting household name brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Standards: You will be responsible for adhering to merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures, and health and safety guidance. You will also implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
  • Product Placement and Replenishment: You will arrange and organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
  • Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: You will set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
  • Strong Communication and Relationship Building: You will build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers. You will also provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams via our feedback application.

Requirements:

  • Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail, and/or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, using your own initiative to find solutions.
  • Pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients.
  • Comfortable with manual handling, moving and arranging products from the warehouse to the shop floor.
  • Willingness to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (you will be paid extra to do so).
  • Confidence using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about your tasks.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car is required.
