Examiner for BTEC Tech Awards Sept 22

We are seeking highly qualified Examiners to join our team of subject matter experts for the BTEC Tech Awards.

The Examiner will be responsible for marking candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to the conditions of recognition and examination procedures.

The Examiner will have a high level of subject knowledge and be able to apply the mark scheme effectively.

We are looking for individuals with a minimum of one year's full-time teaching experience of the relevant subject and a degree or equivalent.

The Examiner will be required to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and submit samples to the Team Leader at designated times.

Responsibilities
  • To mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained.
  • To submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times.
  • To ensure milestones for marking are adhered to.
  • To ensure all administration is completed as specified.
Experience/Qualifications needed
  • You will hold a minimum of one year's full-time teaching experience of the relevant subject.
  • You will have a degree or equivalent.
  • You will be a qualified teacher.
Competencies required
  • You will have the ability to work well under pressure.
  • You will have the ability to meet deadlines.
  • You will have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme.
