Job Title: Health Visitor

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Health Visitor to join our team in Peterborough. As a Health Visitor, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of infants and young children, and their families, in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide health and wellbeing advice and support to families with young children.
  • Conduct home visits to assess the health and wellbeing of infants and young children.
  • Develop and implement health and wellbeing plans to support families.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure a seamless service for families.
  • Participate in multi-agency planning meetings to promote the health and wellbeing of infants and young children.
Requirements:
  • Health Visitor qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience of working with families and young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the principles of health and wellbeing promotion and the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
