Care Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Black Fox Solutions in Magherafelt.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities such as eating, showering, and using the toilet
  • Utilize equipment to move patients when necessary
  • Help tidy the patient's home or room
  • Take the patient's vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Talk to patients and reassure them
  • Attend meetings with other healthcare professionals
  • Assist nurses and other staff when needed
  • Deliver reports to Case Managers and review any important changes in the patient's condition

Requirements:

  • Level 2+ in Health and Social Care
  • 6+ months of experience as a Care Assistant
