About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced teaching assistant to work with us in Exeter. As a SEN High-Level Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing targeted support to students, developing and executing curriculum activities, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging curriculum activities to create an interactive learning environment.
  • Provide one-to-one support to students to help them overcome challenges and reach their goals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity and accommodates different learning styles.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students by acting as a positive role model.

Requirements

  • Possess a solid understanding of educational principles and curriculum development.

  • Be able to assist the class teacher and cover lessons during PPA time.
  • Show adaptability and resourcefulness in diverse classroom situations.
  • Display strong leadership potential and thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Hold previous experience as a High-Level Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
