About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Specialist to join our team at Priority Childcare. As a leading organization, we provide exceptional care and support to young people who have had childhood trauma, are struggling with mental health, or both. Our welcoming home in Blaen Y Waun offers a supportive environment where you can make a positive impact on the lives of these incredible children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to the children and young people we support.
  • Ensure their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
  • Be a positive role model and promote independence by supporting a range of social, school, and work-based activities.
  • Work together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Keep accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents.
  • General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.

Requirements
  • A can-do attitude and resilient nature.
  • Previous care experience preferred but not essential.
  • To hold a current valid driver's license.
  • Compassion and empathy.
  • Good communication.
  • The ability to work flexibly.
  • To be reliable.
