Job Opportunity: Toolmaker

We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join our team at The Recruitment Fix (TRF-Ltd). As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for producing bespoke tooling for a range of customers from drawing to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture, modify, repair, and maintain extrusion tooling and associated equipment.
  • Operate milling, turning, grinding, and XYZ semi-CNC machines, as well as benchwork.
  • Maintain accurate records, including tool trials and job sheets.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Adhere to health and safety and environmental standards.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Toolmaker.
  • Proficiency in manual lathes, manual milling machines, and surface grinders.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and GA's.
  • Knowledge of geometric tolerances.
  • Experience working with various materials, including steels and aluminium.
