Senior Legal Cashier Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Cashier to join our team at Law Staff Limited. As a key member of our financial operations, you will be responsible for managing office and client payments, overseeing billing processes, preparing VAT returns, conducting bank reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with Solicitors Account Rules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage office and client payments, including SAR and statutory compliance
  • Oversee billing processes, costs management, and staff training
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, manage ledgers, and process billings
  • Implement credit control and debt recovery strategies
  • Process all forms of financial transactions, including fee-earners' billings, time-recording, and costs
  • Prepare end-of-year accounts and process payroll
  • Manage petty cash, VAT, and other statutory returns
  • Process BACS and CHAPS payments, electronic payments, and conveyancing completions
  • Provide reporting at partner level
