Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK's leading teaching hospitals, providing a wide range of healthcare services to the local community. We are seeking a skilled Dental Therapist to join our community dental team in Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham, working 4 days a week.

The successful candidate will have a Dental Therapy Qualification and full registration with the General Dental Council, with experience of working in community settings and providing oral health promotion. You will also have strong management and team leadership skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

The salary for this role is £37,338 - £44,962 per annum, pro rata, including HCA. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including access to training and development opportunities, a pension scheme, and a range of employee benefits.

As a Dental Therapist with our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from children to adults, and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • To ensure all clinical treatment is performed to a high standard in accordance with a treatment plan prepared by a community dental officer.
  • To receive and prepare patients for clinical treatment in the dental clinic taking into account any disability or special care need the patient may have.
  • To be continuously aware of any change in the clinical condition of a patient that may affect the prognosis or the treatment plan and to bring these changes to the attention of the referring dental officer.
