Shift Patterns

Must be available for various shift patterns, including days, afternoons, and nights. Average shift length is 8-12 hours, with flexibility to accommodate business needs.

HGV Driver Requirements

* Valid Driving License with category C+E (HGV class 1)
* Minimum of 1 year experience required
* Hold a UK Driver DQC (Blue Card) - Drivers CPC
* 35hrs of Driver Professional Competence
* Digital Tachograph / Smart Chip Card
* Ability to speak and read English satisfactorily
* Maximum of 6 penalty points on Driver's License (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
* Pass drug and alcohol and criminal records background checks by Her Majesty's Government authorities and external reference agencies

HGV Driver Responsibilities

* Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner
* Complete daily walk-around checks on trucks/trailers and notify the manager of any issues
* Ensure Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations are fully compliant
* Keep in contact with the Transport Manager regarding delays and issues
* Help develop new practices for the driver team by providing feedback
* Maintain clean and tidy trucks
