Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Warehouse Operations Coordinator at John Bean Technologies Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Unload and sort materials and products in a safe and efficient manner.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, meeting productivity and quality goals.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and ensuring proper storage and organization of products within the warehouse.
- Prepare shipments for outbound delivery, adhering to all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and quality goals, promoting a culture of teamwork and open communication.
- Manage the ERP system, ensuring accurate data entry and inventory tracking.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred, but not essential.
- Valid forklift operator certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a safe manner and comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
