Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Wilden View School, part of The Aurora Group. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our children with their learning and wellbeing, ensuring every child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with their learning and general wellbeing
  • Establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with pupils
  • Contribute to providing high-quality, challenging, and differentiated educational activities and experiences
  • Support the class teacher and maintain high expectations of behaviour at all times
Requirements:
  • Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent
  • GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification
  • Understanding of Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
  • Knowledge or experience of pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD, ideally in an education setting
