Moog Aircraft Group is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to contribute to the success of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Tewkesbury.

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting parts and assemblies, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve non-conformances, and providing support to the wider business in problem-solving activities, engineering investigations, and corrective action determination.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of parts and assemblies using various measuring equipment and aids
* Inspect parts from subcontractors for special processes
* Perform electronic transactions to accept and reject parts
* Present and discuss non-conformances with the team for dispositions
* Write nonconformance reports
* Control non-conforming parts
* Complete training on the Moog training portal as assigned
* Participate in investigations, problem-solving, and department improvement activities
* Participate in Gauge R&R Studies

Requirements:

* At least 3 years of experience in quality inspection and control
* At least 1 year of experience working in a machine shop, production environment, or inspection department of a special process supplier
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and experience in inspecting GD&T symbols
* Knowledge of inspection techniques and various measuring instruments
* Desirable knowledge of applications such as TIPQA, QPulse FAIR system, and working on customer web portal
* Knowledge/experience of inspection of parts from special processes
* Inspection of parts using CMM machines is an advantage
* Knowledge of QMS system and Microsoft applications
