We are currently hiring an experienced and dedicated Apprentice General Assistant to support our kitchen operations at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs).

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as Level 2 Food Safety certification and previous experience in catering or a related field.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic environment, with access to ongoing training and development programs.

Job Summary

This is a permanent full-time position with a salary range of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Kitchen Manager in meal preparation and dining hall setup/clean down
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Assist with supervising junior staff members
  • Participate in on-the-job training and development programs
Requirements
  • Level 2 Food Safety certification
  • Previous experience in catering or a related field
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
