Deputy Houseparent Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Deputy Houseparent in our Sixth Form Boarding House.

About the Role

As a Deputy Houseparent, you will play a key role in providing a strong support network for our pupils, ensuring their wellbeing and safety at all times. You will work closely with the Houseparent and other members of the pastoral care team to maintain a positive and inclusive environment within the house.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and mentoring pupils to promote their personal and academic development
  • Assisting with the day-to-day running of the house, including coordinating work schedules and delegating tasks to the team
  • Providing support and guidance to pupils in times of need
  • Deputising for the Houseparent in their absence
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Excellent administrative skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
  • A strong academic background and relevant experience in a similar role
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
