Procurement Specialist

Our innovative global manufacturing client is seeking a seasoned Senior Buyer to join their Indirect Team. As a key member of the Global Services Team, you will be responsible for procuring a diverse range of indirect goods and services to support the business needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for your category spend area
- Prepare, coordinate, and execute sourcing decisions for spend area
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including issuing RFIs, tenders, commercial, and contract negotiations
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and best commercial terms
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers to discuss performance and drive continuous improvement
- Meet with suppliers to review performance and build long-standing relationships
- Work closely with colleagues to understand their short-term and long-term procurement needs
- Implement a Preferred Supplier List
- Experience working in a similar procurement/sourcing role
- End-to-end procurement experience, including sourcing, tendering, and supplier management
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills
- Good communicator who enjoys building strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects
- Capacity to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Yearly bonus
