About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Technician to provide comprehensive maintenance services for our solar farms. The ideal candidate will have experience in 3-phase solar PV system installation or ongoing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and corrective works, including high-voltage maintenance, to ensure the continued success of our solar plants.
  • Monitor and report on-site health and safety issues and implement measures to improve safety standards.
  • Take primary responsibility for plant performance, work quality, and site appearance, ensuring both electrical and non-electrical aspects meet our expectations.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties, including maintenance teams, subcontractors, and third-party vendors, as required.
Requirements:
  1. C&G 2330 level 2/3 or equivalent qualification
  2. C&G 2391 Inspection and testing certification
  3. C&G BS7671 17th/18th edition qualification
  4. Familiarity with Gamesa central inverters
  5. Full UK driving license
  6. Computer literacy
  7. PV inverter technology qualifications, communications/networking qualifications, or IOSH/NEBOSH certifications (Desirable)
Location:

Bristol/Somerset area
