Repairs Supervisor

We are partnering with a Local Authority in Swindon to support the appointment of a Repairs Supervisor on a 1-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension at the client's discretion. Please submit your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £26.00-£32.77 per hour
Job Summary:
To oversee the building maintenance team, ensuring efficient and safe operations in line with our health and safety policies. Collaborate with responsive repairs surveyors to provide an effective repairs service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise building maintenance operatives to optimize resource utilization and advise repairs managers on resource requirements for individual jobs.
- Ensure all work is completed within the priority period and to a high standard.
- Pre-inspect work to identify content, duration, and materials required, and liaise with surveyors to clarify before work commences, reducing failure to complete.
- Produce detailed schedules of works and specify job requirements to enable the in-house workforce to carry out the works.
- Pre-order non-stock materials and stock materials for larger or more complicated works, ensuring they can be collected from the stores on the day the works commence or arranged for delivery to site when required.
