PAPYRUS UK is committed to delivering high-quality support services for vulnerable individuals. We are currently seeking a Crisis Support Advisor to join our team in Warrington.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced professional to provide individually tailored support and guidance to young people and those who care about them via our national multi-channel helpline HOPELINE247. The successful candidate will also deliver suicide prevention training online and in community settings across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team providing crisis support to clients via multiple communication channels.
  • Manage and report any safeguarding matters related to service users presenting with risk to life.
  • Maintain accurate records and input data into our database system.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and reflective practice.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and coaching to new recruits.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or professional qualification in Health or Social Care, Community Work, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience of working in an advisory capacity in suicide prevention or mental health.
  • A proven record of working directly with vulnerable young people.
  • Experience of providing advice and guidance via multiple communication channels.
  • The ability to empathise, support, and build rapport with suicidal individuals and those who care about them, remaining non-judgemental and adhering to the service remit.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £27,520 per annum (starting), progressing to £30,540 per annum based on a 30-hour workweek, plus a range of benefits including:
