About the Role

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a private markets portfolio, preparing due diligence reports, evaluating new investment opportunities, and executing transactions. They will also participate in investment team meetings, liaise with research and risk teams, and contribute to the training of junior colleagues.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level and with a suitable investment management qualification or a willingness to work towards it
  • Relevant experience in private market due diligence, including reviewing investment, operational, and ESG factors
  • Demonstrated investment decision-making and portfolio and risk management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Keen interest in investment markets, long-term investment, and commitment to responsible investment and sustainability

Company Overview

Border to Coast is one of the largest asset pools in the UK, managing c. £43bn across various asset classes via internal and external strategies. We are FCA-regulated and expected to continue growing as we support our Partner Funds in making a difference for the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Location

This role is based in Leeds, with hybrid working arrangements.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is around £85,000 - £110,000 depending on experience.
