Company Overview

We are a leading utility company with a healthy order book, seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee HV projects up to 33kv.

Salary

£70,000 per annum, plus Company Car/Allowance, Fuel card, Bonus, Pension and 25 Days Holiday + bank holidays.

Job Description

Your role will involve managing deep excavation for power projects involving civils, cabling and reinstatement. You will be responsible for conducting regular site progress meetings with the client and ensuring that all projects are constructed to CDM Regulations in a safe manner as per designs.

You will work closely with Project Quantity Surveyors having full commercial awareness of projects, ensuring that Project Planners are updated regularly. Your overall responsibility will be for ensuring that all required plant and materials are on-site when required and carrying out regular site audits.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous project management experience of civils deep excavation power works and cabling with a good knowledge of current legislation, technical standards and specifications.
  • Commercial awareness with good knowledge of CDM Regs.
  • Good I.T skills having ideally used planning software.
