About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Conservation Project Coordinator to join our team at Cumberland Council. This is an exciting opportunity to work on conservation projects that contribute to the protection of our natural landscapes.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering projects and work programmes across the designated area, engaging with local communities and promoting their understanding and enjoyment of the landscape.

You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills in project management, public engagement, and community outreach.

We offer a competitive salary range of £35,235 - £36,124 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver conservation projects that contribute to the protection of our natural landscapes
  • Work with local communities to promote their understanding and enjoyment of the landscape
  • Deliver projects and work programmes across the designated area
  • Engage with stakeholders and partners to secure funding and support for projects
