About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic support to students in lessons across a range of subjects, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Offer one-to-one or small group support, both in and out of the classroom, to cater to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop tailored learning plans for students with additional needs, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Promote positive behavior and encourage student engagement, fostering a productive and respectful classroom atmosphere.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Has a genuine passion for working with young people and a commitment to their educational success.
  • Holds a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or is willing to work towards it) and is eager to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Is patient, empathetic, and able to communicate effectively with students of all abilities, creating a safe and inclusive space for learning.
  • Can work well as part of a team and is flexible in their approach, adapting to the needs of the students and the school.
