Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our IT infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing complex IT projects and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for IT projects
  • Facilitate needs assessments and develop recommended project control solutions
  • Determine, monitor, and review project economics, including costs, operational budgets, resourcing requirements, and risks
  • Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on project activities, including subcontractor monitoring
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards and requirements
  • Control project requirements, scope, budget, resourcing, and change management risks and issues
  • Establish metrics for measuring key project criteria
  • Manage changes in operational plan via defined functional processes
  • Assist in training project team members on application of procedures
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and project management techniques
  • Develop project control and reporting procedures and manage changes in operational plan
  • Conduct status review meetings with project team members and stakeholders and escalate risks and issues to the Programme Manager
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored
  • Work with management on project proposals, contracts, estimates, and schedules
  • Coach and advise team members to accomplish project goals, meet established schedules, and resolve technical/operational issues
  • Develop and manage stakeholder engagement, ensuring continuous and clear communication with clients, vendors, and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Strong experience in planning and managing multiple IT infrastructure projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to develop projects and deliver them against financial and resource constraints
  • Good project planning and execution skills
  • Proven track record with the use of reporting tools to monitor project activities and analyze project performance
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and explain project goals and objectives to the project team and stakeholders
  • Basic understanding of project management principles, including Waterfall or Agile
  • Qualifications in one of the following project delivery methodologies or frameworks and experience of others, such as PMI Standards, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Managing Successful Programs (MSP), or equivalent
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with users and stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and internal staff through large-scale business change
  • Previous experience in the Oil & Gas sector would be advantageous
  • Previous integration project experience beneficial
