Junior Strategic Finance Analyst

We're seeking a talented Junior Strategic Finance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you'll play a crucial role in managing and analyzing the costs of our business. You'll collaborate closely with various teams to maintain and facilitate the tracking and analysis of event-related costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the creation, maintenance, and improvement of financial templates and reports for past, current, and future years.
  2. Monitor and review forecasts to ensure accuracy and timely updates, examining cost reports and raising concerns when necessary.
  3. Analyze costs and produce insightful reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Support the creation and maintenance of financial dashboards.
  5. Assist with event cost budgeting, analyzing and understanding budget numbers.
  6. Support ad-hoc requests and projects.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills, including vlookups, pivots, and sumifs.
  2. A flair for evaluating problems and proposing solutions independently.
  3. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  4. A sense of pride in maintaining accurate financial records.
  5. A positive, can-do attitude, with a desire to take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
  6. A natural curiosity and proactive ability to quickly learn new tasks while working autonomously.
  7. Good communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  8. The ability to quickly establish credibility with non-financial stakeholders.
