You will play a pivotal role within the Restructuring & Insolvency team, advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters, with a focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for clients. Job Responsibilities

  • Advising on a wide range of restructuring and insolvency matters, including administrations, liquidations, receiverships, CVAs, restructuring plans, and directors' duties.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documentation such as administration sale agreements, court applications, and security reviews.
  • Providing strategic advice to clients on complex restructuring and insolvency issues.
  • Conducting legal research and offering innovative solutions to address client challenges.
  • Managing both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters and collaborating with other practice areas where required.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2–4 years' PQE in restructuring and insolvency law gained at a well-regarded firm.
  • A strong background in non-contentious insolvency, with at least some experience in contentious insolvency matters.
  • A solid understanding of restructuring and insolvency law, corporate finance, and business structures.
  • Familiarity with financial instruments, cross-border insolvency, and international business law.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and legal documents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify intricate legal concepts for diverse clients.
  • The ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
