Electrical Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Government Facility Services Ltd. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities, including HMP Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Plan, organize, and manage electrical maintenance projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, electrical codes, and standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address electrical maintenance needs.
  • Develop and implement electrical maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
Requirements:
  • Five years' experience as an electrician or equivalent.
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical, building services.
  • Experience of supervising staff.
  • Full driving license preferably with D1.
  • C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
