Job Title: Senior HGV Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HGV Mechanic to join our team at Interaction Recruitment. As a Senior HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair of HGVs, diagnosing complex technical issues, and collaborating with clients to understand their specific requirements.

Salary: £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  3. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide expert recommendations.
  4. Offer training and support to clients' staff on machinery operation and maintenance best practices.
  5. Keep detailed records of service activities, parts used, and work completed for accurate reporting.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in the Plant, Automotive, HGV or Agricultural industry (essential).
  • Previous experience working with hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential).
  • Full UK Drivers License.
