Logistics Manager Job Description

At 3D Personnel, we are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery management system, ensuring that all deliveries arriving on site are properly documented and scheduled.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery management system, ensuring that all deliveries are properly documented and scheduled.
  • Oversee the management of skips and bins, including waste management and issuing clear-up notices to subcontractors.
  • Use a computer competently to upload pictures, issue notices, and manage logistics operations.
  • Work closely with the project team and provide information to the Main Contractor's QS team for contra charging.
  • Attend management meetings with the main contractor site team and all subcontractors.
  • Manage all labour required for the site, including Gatemen, Traffic Marshalls, Fork Lift and Fork Lift Drivers, General Labourers, and Handymen/Carpenters.
  • Order extra staff when required.

Key Requirements:

  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
  • First Aid certification.
  • CSCS certification.

Key Experiences:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience as a Logistics Manager.
