Key Responsibilities of the MET Technician Role

We are recruiting an experienced MET Technician to join our team at Personnel Link Employment Group. As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for removing and replacing mechanical, electrical, and trim components on a wide range of vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all aspects of MET work, including mechanical, electrical, and trim component removal and replacement.
  • Confidently carry out four-wheel alignment tasks and work on a variety of makes and models of cars.
  • Perform light panel work and some panel replacements, as well as filler work as needed.
  • Work confidently with ADAS systems and diagnostics.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in MET stripping and fitting.
  • ATA/NVQ Level 3 (preferred but not essential) or at least 3 years' experience in MET.
  • Experience with diagnostics and ADAS systems.
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.
  • Own tools and equipment.
