Project Manager - Fit Out Consultancy

Brighton

A highly sought-after opportunity to work with a reputable Quantity Surveying, Project Management, and Building Surveying Consultancy, who specialize in fit-out services to the retail, leisure, and commercial sectors. Due to a massive increase in jobs won and current workload, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and develop project teams, maintain and grow customer relationships, ensuring excellent project delivery, Health and Safety excellence in line with company procedures, and ensuring projects are profitable in line with budget while always looking for ways to exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for project delivery during preconstruction after contract award through to commencement on site. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing client briefs into workable project profiles.
  2. Forming scoping documents and specifications.
  3. Assisting QS to produce cost plans.
  4. Design management.
  5. Contract administration.
  6. Programming and phasing of projects.
  7. Managing project meetings.
  8. Commercial - ensuring profit plans, CVRs, and resourcing are all accurate.
  9. Ensuring all projects are delivered to exacting standards, on time and in budget.
Requirements
  1. A relevant degree in design, project management, construction, or a related field.
  2. Background in Retail / Commercial Fit-Out.
  3. Project Management experience.
  4. Consultancy Background.
  5. Accountability - demonstrable experience of managing teams, commercial processes, and H&S.
  6. Good communication skills.
  7. Time and workload management.
  8. Develop and maintain customer relationships.
  9. Work under pressure to meet deadlines.
