Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team at AB Volvo. As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer software packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Assist in the fault diagnosis process and work with the Parts Team to ensure accurate job cards.
  • Comply with warranty procedures and keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy, and well maintained.
  • Wear personal protective equipment when appropriate.
