Academic Performing Arts Professional

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced lecturer to cover a period of maternity leave in our Performing Arts department at Uxbridge College.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching across a range of University of the Arts London (UAL) courses in Performing Arts, from Level 1 to Level 4, both theory and practical units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students aged 16-19
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve course and institutional goals
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Performing Arts or a related field
- Proven teaching experience in the subject area, including BTEC and/or UAL programmes
- Current or recent experience in the Performing Arts industry, including directing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Arrangements:
This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. The estimated salary for this role is £38,357 per annum, including London Weighting.
