This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children, young people, and families by providing high-quality support and intervention.
Key Responsibilities- Manage members of the keeping families together team, providing them with high support and challenge.

The team will support families where there are children/young people who are:

- Or, being in acute distress and there is a risk of family breakdown without immediate support.
The Family Support Specialist will work with children and young people between the ages of 8 and 18, along with their families, providing time-limited periods of intervention.
The core team will work flexibly, around the family's needs, developing and delivering bespoke intervention work that will be delivered in a planned way. Members of the team will work their core hours (37 hours) flexibly between 7am and 8pm Monday to Friday depending on a family's needs.
What You'll Need- A strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
- Experience of working with vulnerable families and individuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
We offer a competitive salary range £35,105 - £40,292 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including pension scheme, annual leave, and training opportunities.
