Salary:

The successful candidate can expect a salary ranging from £60,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Surgeon to work in one of the UK's largest veterinary retailers based in Waterlooville. The successful candidate will be part of a close-knit team consisting of 2 full-time vets, 4 RVNs, 1 VCA, 1 practice manager/practice owner, and 4 receptionists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care, working closely with the veterinary team to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement best practices in veterinary medicine.
  • Contribute to the development of the practice, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognized university.
  • Membership in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • Previous experience as a veterinary surgeon is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets.
  • Ability to handle a variety of animals safely and effectively.
