We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our Scotland West Division team at Bellway Homes. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the sales process on site to ensure that all targets and objectives are achieved in accordance with specified timescales and budgets.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve sales budgets and targets for each development you are responsible for.
- Support, manage, and motivate the sales team.
- Implement sales inductions and provide continual training, coaching, and support to aid the development of Sales Advisors and Senior Sales Advisors.
- Oversee site presentation and ensure that it is maintained to the correct standard at all times.
- Agree budgets for each show home with the Head of Sales and brief/liaise with interior designers accordingly.
- Propose sales strategies to the Head of Sales/Sales Director for developments or plots as and when required.
- Ensure that each development is fully staffed and holiday and sickness cover are managed appropriately.
- Ensure that information is correct and plans are available in good time for commencement of the sales operation on each development.
- Work within financial parameters to maximize profit.
- Experience of working as a Sales Manager for a high-volume national housebuilder.
- Experience of leading and managing a team.
- GCSE Maths and English Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Good administration skills.
- Works effectively to deadlines.
- Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to work on own as well as part of a team.
