About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Development Project Officer to join our team at WWT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing projects that enhance our visitors' experience and contribute to the restoration of wetlands.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage projects that align with our organizational goals and objectives
- Collaborate with colleagues to bring together project teams and develop inspirational visitor experience projects and activities
- Procure and manage external consultants and contractors
- Work with multi-disciplinary staff and volunteers at our wetland sites across the UK

Requirements

- An appropriate degree in landscape design, construction, conservation management, or visitor centre experience
- Practical experience of exhibit design, landscape design, construction, and/or site or facilities management
- Project management skills, including experience of managing the delivery of contracts
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
