We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel in East London. As a key member of our Housekeeping Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the hotel.

• Monitor and maintain the quality of cleanliness and maintenance in all guest suites, rooms, and public areas.
• Lead and manage a team of Housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Develop and implement cleaning programs and policies to extend the life of materials and areas.
• Ensure all maintenance faults are promptly reported and rectified.
• Train and develop Housekeeping staff in statutory training such as COSHH, Manual Handling, and Fire Safety.
• Implement and maintain Housekeeping Security procedures in accordance with the Hotel Employee Handbook.
• Ensure all lost property items are recorded, issued, and safely kept before handing them over to the Security department.

• Minimum 3 years experience in a 5* Luxury Hotel Property in a proactive Housekeeping Manager position.
• Exceptional leadership skills with experience of developing and leading a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with guests, clients, and head of personnel partners.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple Housekeeping operational projects and deadlines.
• Flexible and adaptable with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
