Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

HUBER Parking UK is a leading contractor for systematized multi-storey car parks, specializing in the design and construction of contemporary parking facilities. With a track record of hundreds of successful projects across Europe and the UK, we are a recognized D&B contractor in the car parking market.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Health and Safety Manager for a dynamic role across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring site compliance with relevant regulations, conducting health and safety inspections, and reporting to the Group Health and Safety Manager and Site Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular health and safety inspections on site and report findings to the Group Health and Safety Manager and Site Teams.
  • Ensure site compliance with CDM, LOLER, PUWER Regulations, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and ISO45001.
  • Follow up on actions with Site Teams and review sub-contractor RAMS.
  • Assist Site Teams with solutions for site-related health and safety problems.
  • Monitor site health and safety documentation and conduct accident reports and near-miss analysis with assistance from the Group Health and Safety Manager.
  • Assist the Health and Safety Manager in introducing new health and safety and environmental initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication across all levels of expertise.
  • 3+ years of relevant construction experience in a health and safety role.
  • Knowledge of construction and relevant health and safety regulations, including CDM Regulations, LOLER regulations, PUWER Regulations, Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and ISO45001.
  • Positive, self-assured, and reliable.
  • Productive, flexible, and eager to learn.
  • Willing to travel nationwide as required.
  • Full driving license.
