The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to drive financial success and provide insightful analysis for a client of ours based in Exeter. While motor trade experience is not essential, a passion for detail and strategic thinking is crucial.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  1. Prepare accurate and timely management accounts and financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  2. Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, aligning with business objectives and ensuring efficient financial management.
  3. Analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying and explaining variances, and providing recommendations for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  4. Monitor and control costs, providing insights for strategic decisions and ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
  5. Assist in strategic financial planning and decision-making processes, evaluating profitability of products, projects, or departments.
  6. Manage and forecast cash flow, ensuring accurate and efficient financial management and compliance with accounting standards.
  7. Utilise financial reporting tools and software to streamline reporting and analysis processes, ensuring accurate and efficient financial management.
  8. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and initiatives, providing insights for strategic decisions.
  9. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
The Package:

Basic Salary: £40,000 + £6,000 Bonus + Car

Hours: Monday to Friday [8:30am - 5:30pm]
