Domestic Assistant Opportunity at Woodlands Care Home

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Woodlands Care Home. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Emptying waste bins and recycling
  • Vacuuming and dusting all areas
  • Cleaning dining rooms, lounges, and toilets
  • Polishing mirrors and cleaning taps and sinks
  • Spot cleaning all floorings and washing bathroom, toilet, and en-suite floors
  • Dusting handrails and radiators
  • Moving mobile furniture and vacuuming and dusting beneath and behind
  • Washing out metal wastepaper bins
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and windowsills
  • Washing lino floors and shampooing carpets as requested
  • Dusting light bulbs, curtains, pictures, and fittings
  • Restocking toiletries, soaps, and towels when required

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year's experience in a domestic or cleaning role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment and furniture
