This is a fantastic chance for an ambitious Laboratory Technician to work with a leading Commercial Explosive Manufacturer in the UK. The role is based out of Alfreton, Derbyshire, and involves working Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Laboratory Coordinator in maintaining product and environmental manufacturing compliance and storage and field activities associated with the core business.
- Conduct sampling, testing, preparation, and disposal of chemicals and explosives, and assist with inventory management for laboratory stock and equipment.
- Develop effective liaisons and collaboration with colleagues and managers across other departments.
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner.
- Assist with the review of COSHH assessments.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
- Dispose of waste explosives.
- A Level in Chemistry (or Equivalent).
- Driving license.
