Adult Nursing Support Assessment Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Adult Nursing Support Assessment Expert to join our team at Pearson. As an Adult Nursing Support Assessment Expert, you will be responsible for assessing the performance of apprentices in the Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Adult Nursing Support) (Level 3) programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the performance of apprentices in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria and procedures.
  • Maintain and provide evidence of ongoing, relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
  • Follow the protocols set out in Pearson's specifications, assessment materials, and quality assurance protocols, relating to the EPAs.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Occupational competence in the adult nursing support field.
  • A registered healthcare professional or have completed a level 5 apprenticeship or regulated occupational competence qualification at level 5 or above.
  • Holding, or be working towards, a formal assessor qualification (e.g., A1, assessor component to TAQA etc).
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting within the last 2 years.
